About: IEEE Student Branch and IEEE Kazakhstan subsection jointly invites the participation of young professionals and students in presenting new ideas, designs, and applications of Internet of Things. Capstone projects/proposals, class projects, industry products, preliminary concepts, research presentations, and visionary product ideas are welcome.

Submission of Abstracts: 25 Aug 2017

Decision on Acceptance: 30 Aug 2017

Submission details:

Prospective participants are invited to submit an abstract to  meeting the following requirements:

  • Title and Author list 
  • Clearly, explain the key findings
  • Conceptual to implemented projects welcome

Round 1: The selected abstracts will be required to present their ideas and works during the oral sessions and will be automatically considered for the IoT design contest. The oral presentations are 5 min long, with no other restrictions. You can use product demonstrations, videos, slides or dance to express your ideas. You will be automatically eliminated if time is not respected.

Round 2: Following your presentations, the awards committee will shortlist the projects for the second round of presentations. In this round, the participants would be expected to present their works taking into account the feedbacks in round 1. You can use product demonstrations, videos, slides or dance to express your ideas. The presentations in this round will be 10 minutes each.
